Every day we do not think about it and no wonder, but among us there are many people who have experienced the hard fate, and their only hope may be our help and support. This site was created for little Grzes, who has been suffering from an incurable and fatal genetic disease - cystic fibrosis.

At the moment there is no possibility to cure Grześ thoroughly, but there are some medicines that can slow disease progression, and make him live as  normally as possible. Unfortunately, the cost of treatment is huge, and majority of drugs are not reimbursed. The list of drugs is very long and only on them does it depend that Grzes may live until the day that perhaps the cure for cystic fibrosis is invented to help Grzes and other children suffering from this disease.

Grześ disease runs on both the respiratory and digestive tract. From the day of his birth he must take pancreatic enzymes and a number of vitamins and protective drugs before each meal. Then there are the daily inhalations - so far with saline, with time probably with mucolytic drugs.

Another important element of the treatment is rehabilitation and indispensable equipment, by which we mean inhalers, nebulizers, filters for antibiotics, etc. This is all very expensive, and the refund includes one inhaler for five years and one nebulizer for a year. However, the needs are much greater. Equally important in the treatment of cystic fibrosis is the high energy diet. Patients’ needs for energy and nutrients are almost twice as high as in healthy people. So as you can see the needs of a child suffering from cystic fibrosis are enormous.
